_ is an Association between all professionals who, even with different vocational training, deal with social and personal problems related to odontophobia and with the therapeutical aspects.

_ can be regarded as a multidisciplinar Association which organises training and specialization courses in order to increase the knowledge on odontophobia, promotes cultural and scientific exchange with other European and international Associations as well as symposia and refresher courses.

Founder member of SIOF is Dr. Massimo Paragallo Director of Dentistry Ward at Parioli Clinic in Rome, former researcher in dentistry techniques for non co-operating patients.
